Ciao, I’m Angela, your guide to Italian language and heritage.

I’m an Italian native, Harvard PhD graduate, and passionate language educator on a mission to help you reconnect with your Italian roots and feel truly at home in Italy: linguistically, culturally, and emotionally.

This isn’t just what I teach, it’s what I’ve lived. My decade-long experience of learning English through traditional methods left me fluent on paper but lost in real conversation.

For over 10 years, I’ve taught Italian to English speakers around the world, first in the U.S. while completing my graduate studies, and now in Greece, where I tutor Greeks and expats eager to embrace the Italian language and way of life.

It was during my time at Harvard, both as a student and an instructor, that I began developing a more holistic, human-centered approach to language learning, one rooted in communication, culture, and connection. I refined this method through research, classroom practice, and the lived experience of watching my students thrive.

But most importantly, I applied it to myself.

When I moved to Greece after Harvard, I used the same principles to learn Greek. And this time, it felt different, easier, more joyful, and deeply human. I wasn’t just learning words; I was stepping into a new culture and identity with confidence and care.
